Terms
Last updated 1 September 2026
These are the terms for using Blue Collar Field Kit. They are written in plain language so you can actually read them. Using the service means you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, email us before you rely on it.
The service
Blue Collar Field Kit is field software for the trades — estimates, scheduling, job capture, invoicing, receipts, payroll figures, and timecards. It is in active development: features are added and changed regularly, and some capabilities described on this site are marked as coming rather than available today.
Your account and your crew
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for the people you invite into your company’s account. What each person can see and do inside the product depends on the role you give them. Do not share one login between people; invite each person instead.
Do not use the service for anything unlawful, to infringe anyone’s rights, or to attempt to access another company’s data.
Your data is yours
The business records you enter belong to you and your company. We store and process them only to provide the service. You can export your records (CSV and PDF) from inside the product at any time — including your clients, jobs, price book, invoices, receipts, and reports — and a full account export is available on request. How we handle your data is described in our Privacy policy.
If your account is suspended
If we ever suspend an account (for example over a billing problem), your data is not deleted and you can still export your business records while suspended. Suspension is reversible; deletion happens only when you ask for it or close your account.
Closing your account and deletion
You can ask us to close your account and delete your company’s data at any time. Deletion is real: it covers your records and your uploaded files, including stored file versions. Some minimal records may be retained where the law requires it (for example, records of the deletion itself).
AI features
Some features use an AI model to read what you upload — for example, reading a photographed receipt into a form for you to review. AI output is always a draft a person confirms; it never books anything on its own. Where a plan lets you use your own AI provider key, charges from that provider are between you and them.
Billing
Billing is not live yet and the product is free to use right now. Our pricing is published on this site, and you will never be charged without signing up to a paid plan first.
Availability and disclaimer
The service is provided “as is” and “as available” while the product is early. We work to keep it reliable, but we do not make uptime commitments yet, and to the extent the law allows we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages or for lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, such as for our own fraud or gross negligence.
Our software
The software, design, and brand are ours. These terms give you the right to use the service for your business while you have an account; they do not transfer any ownership of the software to you (and none of your data to us).
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the product grows; material changes will be announced in the product or by email, and continuing to use the service after a change means you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, and specifically by the law of the state in which Blue Collar Field Kit is established; disputes are handled by the courts of that state.
